Two ounce squeeze bottle The easiest solution to clear skin of blemishes, rashes, dry patches, and scaly skin is to stop using soap, and other irritating artificial cleansers, and harsh exfoliants like scrubs! Hard to believe but its true. Theme's oil cleanser is easy to use. Using a quarter size amount massage the cleanser all over the face. If you wear heavy makeup, concentrate the cleanser on those areas. Next wet your hands with warm water and massage your face again and rinse. Our formula allows an easy rinse off (not a grease-fest!), and your face will feel baby skin soft, not stripped as with soap. After you pat your skin dry you will see and feel how balanced your skin can feel! We use apricot oil and extra virgin olive oil for their healing properties. Apricot oil lends itself to sensitive, and bothered skin. It is high in vitamins A, C and E and will keep your skin clear and smooth! Olive oil, a gift from nature also is known for its skin smoothing effects- it has high levels of vitamin E and other antioxidants and is rich in oleic acid, a natural emollient. Olive oil contains hydroxytyrosol which is a phytochemical with antioxidant properties. After gallic acid, hydroxytyrosol is believed to be one of the most powerful antioxidants. I have very fair, translucent skin, that has been a problem most of my life. I began seeing dermatologists when I was only 10 for acne, and I still ended up with some deep scarring, and purple discoloration that takes literally years to fade. Because I scar with discoloration, I am not a candidate for any sort of plastic surgery for my skin (a whole purple face!!, possibly). My skin was never able to tolerate the harsh treatments I was given for it since it is so sensitive. Now that I am older, this is even more of an issue. Washing with a hypoallergenic soap can leave my skin feeling raw and burning. The oil cleanser leaves my skin clean and soothed. For a bedtime treatment, I put the cleanser on and leave for 5 minutes, this moisten a cloth in warm water and lie down for another 5 minutes with the cloth on my face, then rinse as usual. These are excellent products. I've used cleansing oils for at least 15 years now -- usually my first step to remove makeup (long-wearing & waterproof) before a cleanser -- and the Nature & Nurture Oil Cleanser is immediately one of my favorites. It removes waterproof mascara easily, and has almost no greasy afterfeel after a thorough warm water rinse -- very impressive. For normal to dry skin, this could be your all-in-one cleanser. The First Impression Makeup Primer is also very nice -- it's silicone-based, and makes my skin look poreless. The Renew & Replenish is also great, and I'm really intrigued by the Aroma FX, and I'm very glad Elizabeth offers the set to try everything.
